Yes. PrepMe is completely free for South African matric learners — lessons, quizzes, mock exams, the AI Tutor and VS Mode duels are all included at no cost.
PrepMe covers Grades 10, 11 and 12 across CAPS subjects including Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Literacy, Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Geography, History and Agriculture.
XP (Experience Points) tracks your overall study progress and rank — you earn it by completing lessons, quizzes and exams. Arena Points are earned through quizzes and exams and can be staked in VS Mode duels against other learners.
VS Mode matches you with another learner studying the same subject and grade for a live, timed quiz duel. You can search for a random opponent, challenge a friend directly, or join a private room using a room code.
PrepMe's Bursary Engine helps you discover and apply for South African bursaries (like NSFAS, Sasol, Eskom, Absa and more) based on your grade and subjects. Sign up and visit the Bursaries section from your dashboard.
